President Muhammadu Buhari is back in the nation’s capital, Abuja, after spending four days in Portugal on a State visit.
The President was received on Saturday evening at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello, and Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.
While in Lisbon, the Nigerian leader appreciated his Portuguese host, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa for deploying troops for peacekeeping in the Central African Republic, monitoring political developments, and providing assistance to some countries in Africa, including Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
President Buhari also assured Portuguese investors that the business atmosphere in Nigeria is conducive for them to come and invest in Nigeria.
In the course of his visit, Nigeria was able to sign 10 agreements and memoranda of understanding in various sectors.
