Tyson Fury is set to come out of ‘retirement’ to fight against Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world in a mega-millions undisputed world heavyweight title fight in Saudi Arabia on December 17.

The bout, which has been slated for just a day before the World Cup Final in neighboring Qatar, has been confirmed by the Saudi Arabia Minister for Sport Prince Mohammad Abdulaziz with Team Fury reportedly set to make even more than Saturday’s £85million bonanza which saw Ukrainian Usyk keep his WBA, IBF and WBO belts.

The fight will unite these titles with Fury’s WBC belt alongside the Ring Magazine belt relinquished by Tyson Fury and won by Usyk when he defeated Anthony Joshua in the Saudi Arabia rematch. It is important to note that the WBC have given Fury until Friday to ‘unretire’ before declaring their title vacant. Fury has talked of expecting £420m to re-enter the fray.

After defeating  Anthony Joshua for the second time, Usyk CVhas reiterated it would only take Tyson Fury to get him inside the ring again.
