According to reports from Holland, Ajax winger Antony’s move to Manchester United has been completed. The reports say an agreement has been reached in principle with Ajax by the Old Trafford club on a €100m fee which includes add-ons.
They say a contract until June 2027 with an option until 2028 is set to be signed tomorrow by the Brazilian winger. While the contracts are being prepared, it is worthy of note that this will be an Eredivisie historical record fee.
It is hugely expected that Antony will be in Manchester to complete his medicals and other paperwork within the next couple of days.
This will come as a huge relief to throngs of the Red Devils faithfuls who watched on with despair as multiple bids were rejected by Ajax for the Brazilian trickster who had reiterated his desire to join Erik Ten Hag at Old Trafford.
