United States of America Women’s national football team maintained superiority over the Super Falcons of Nigeria with a 4-0 victory in an international friendly on Saturday.

The game played in Kansas City, USA was the first of two friendly games lined up between USA and Nigeria in the Prestige Friendlies series.

Shotstopper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Osinachi Ohale, Uchenna Kanu, Toni Payne, Rasheedat Ajibade, Michelle Alozie and Ifeoma Onumonu were all in action for the Super Falcons.

USA were dominant for large parts of the game. Lindsay Horan and Alex Morgan’s goals, as well as Sophia Smith’s brace, were enough for the Americans to drive home their dominance.

Both teams will lock horns again in another friendly on Tuesday, 6th September, at the Audi Field, Washington DC. USA.

The Americans have now won all seven meetings against the Falcons since their first clash at the 1999 women’s World Cup.
