Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch has been charged by the Football Association for “improper language and/or behaviour” during his side’s 5-2 defeat to Brentford on Saturday. The American has until Friday to provide a response to the FA’s charge.
Marsch was furious Leeds were denied a penalty by the match officials. He was sent off after urging referee Robert Jones to use the monitor to review a challenge by Aaron Hickey on Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville.
The Leeds boss had also been booked earlier in the season during the Whites’ defeat to Brighton the previous week after angrily slamming the ball.
