Aside from the lofty things I had heard about him, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi popularly known as Dattijo is a factor to be reckoned with in Nigeria Political circle.

Muhammad, a prince of the Zazzau Emirate, drawing his royal lineage from the late Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dalhatu Usman Yero of the Fulato-Borno ruling dynasty of Zazzau.

An erudite scholar of Public Finance at the London School of Economics, Sustainable Development at Columbia University, and Advanced Project Management at Oxford University.
The international development expert was also an associate and founding member of Dunning Africa Centre by the prestigious Henley Business School, University of Reading, United Kingdom.
He started his leadership role as a Research Assistant at the Economic Community of West African State (ECOWAS) where he excellently performs his role by assisting various committees research on regional developmental issues. Dattijo proceeded as a Programme Officer at the National Democratic Institute as an integral member of the team that designed the concept and framework for the National Assembly Budget and Research Office (NABRO).
He later served as an Economist and Deputy National Program Manager in Nigeria’s Presidency and was appointed as Economic Adviser of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum, a political and policy think-tank for the country’s 36 elected Governors.
These laudable activities position him as a Policy Advisor in the Executive Office of United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon in New York and a member of the Secretary General’s core team that designed the Sustainable Development Goals.
Muhammad Sani Abdullahi was a man after the development of the his state, Kaduna.

He was two-time Commissioner for Budget and Planning. As a Commissioner, he leads the State’s broad economic growth and development portfolio. He also is a Member of the State Executive Council and is responsible for designing the fiscal strategy and coordinating the implementation and monitoring of the state budget.


In 2019, Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, appointed Muhammad Sani Abdullahi (Dattijo) as his chief of Staff, a position he held with humility and human developmental character, no doubt that his presence for 3years five months as a chief of staff in Kaduna state was adjudged as a meritorious service for the State.

Now is the time to support Muhammad Sani Abdullahi (Dattijo) as a Senator for Kaduna Central Senatorial District under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC.

With his wealth of knowledge and over a decade of experience in development policy formulation, public finance, and project implementation, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Dattijo deserves total support of the people of Kaduna Central in 2023 for his position at the red chamber of the National Assembly.

Indeed, he was the man who the cap fits, as he will position the people’s demand and channel the Nation’s development through desire motions and Bills at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
