Youth empowerment and development, a process where the Youths can gain the ability and authority to make informed decisions and implement change in their own lives and the lives of other people has been attributed as parts of successful initiative of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
This was at the instance of a courtesy visit of the outgoing Lagos State Divisional Youth Ambassadors with the Director of Youth Development, Mrs. Rasheedat Umar to the office of the Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Special Duties and Intergovernmental relations, Honourable Mobolaji Ogunlede.
Honourable Mobolaji Ogunlede made it known that the active engagement and empowerments of Youths has been one of the key role of Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration, where the state government place high premium on various developmental project geared towards youths across the state.
The visit was to foster the continous engagements of youth development in governance and build Lagos state youths as frontiers of excellence and objectivity in the Nation and Diaspora.
Mobolaji however, used the opportunity to create awareness on Lagos toll free emergency lines 112 and 767 to the Divisional Youth Ambassadors.
The Lagos Divisional Youth Ambassadors ably represented by each divisional leaders also presented an award of merit to Honourable Mobolaji Ogunlede.
