Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo is set for Bayern Munich loan move with an option to make it permanent for 61.5 million pounds. He has won two league titles and the EFL Cup under Pep Guardiola. Cancelo had previously been viewed as one of the key players in Guardiola’s squad due to his ability to drift inside and act as a playmaker when City had the ball. However, he has only started three games since the World Cup and his last two appearances were in the defeats by Southampton and Manchester United.

Chelsea close to securing Enzo Fernandez signing from Benfica for 105.6 million pounds before transfer window slams shut. Fernandez only joined Benfica from Argentinian side River Plate in August, for a reported £10m, and has scored four goals in 29 appearances for the Primeira Liga side. He scored once during the World Cup, netting Argentina’s second goal in their 2-0 group-stage win over Mexico.
