Brazilian defence stalwart Thiago Silva has signed a one-year contract extension which will keep him at Chelsea until summer 2024.
The 38 year old Brazil defender joined the Blues from Paris St-Germain in 2020 and helped the club to UEFA Champions League success in his first full season.
The former AC Milan central defender has helped the Premier League side reach two FA Cup finals and an EFL Cup final in his 106 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea.
Silva, who initially joined on a one-year contract, has shown excitement at staying with the West London club for four years.
