Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, Hon. Babatunde Olaniyan, today disclosed that the club’s management will not be appealing against the sanctions the Interim Management Committee imposed on the club and its camp commandant.

Earlier in the week, the league’s governing body had fined the club half a million naira and the camp commandant given a one-year ban for his misdemeanor before kickoff of the 2-2 home draw against Akwa United.

The camp commandant had been pictured urinating at the center of the pitch and the IMC wielded its hammer against the Ibadan soccer warlords for failing to control their official.

The club chairman also revealed that the management had issued the offender, Auwal Mohammed, a query and ordered an investigation into the incident.

3SC are currently seventh in Group A of the Nigeria Premier Football League with just ten points as at the mid season break.
