Gabriel Martinelli scored the only goal as Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League with a hard-fought win at Leicester City.
The Brazilian latched on to a deft pass from Leandro Trossard in the first minute of the second half and rolled the ball past an onrushing Danny Ward into the gaping net.
The affair had two goals disallowed with Iheanacho flagged for offside after slotting the ball past Ramsdale after Trossard had had a fine first-half goal disallowed after Arsenal’s Ben White held Ward in the build-up.
Arsenal were not at their free-flowing best but lead Manchester City by five points before Pep Guardiola’s side face Bournemouth later on Saturday.
Leicester were lacklustre all through and remain 14th on the Premier League table.
Elsewhere, Danny Ings’ first goals for West Ham proved the launching pad for a huge 4-0 win as David Moyes’ side pulled themselves out of the Premier League relegation zone.
Leeds also moved out of the relegation zone as Junior Firpo’s second-half goal gave them a crucial 1-0 victory over bottom club Southampton in Javi Gracia’s first game as manager.
Ollie Watkins continued his excellent goalscoring form in the Premier League with Emiliano Buendia also on the scoresheet as Aston Villa’s 2-0 away victory returned Everton to the relegation zone.
