Italian giants AC Milan advanced into the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals thanks to a first-leg triumph after a goalless draw against Tottenham in the second leg.

It was a ‘rinse and repeat’ continental campaign for English side Tottenham Hotspurs as they, once again, got knocked out of the Champions League with nothing to show for their efforts.

Spurs got reduced to ten men when Argentina defender Cristian Romero got his marching orders after a second yellow late on in the game.

Goalkeeper Mike Maignan and midfielder Brahim Diaz starred at the San Siro hosts with Fikayo Tomori named as the best player on the night.
