Former Chelsea player and manager, Frank Lampard, has been touted by many in football circles to become the club’s caretaker manager till the end of the season as the search for a new permanent manager continues.

Since Graham Potter’s departure on Sunday, there have been a number of names listed as potential replacements in the Blues dugout.

One of such is Luis Enrique, who is a former Spain and Barcelona manager.

The Spaniard reportedly flew into London hours ago for talks with the club’s hierarchy.

Julian Nagelsmann, who was recently relieved of his duties at Bayern Munich, is also said to be upbeat about having positive talks with owners Boehly and Eghbali.

Sources close to the German, who initially was not keen on rushing into another job, are reporting that the young manager is now interested in the project at Chelsea.

Other names such as that of Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti and Mauricio Pochettino as well as Zinedine Zidane have been thrown into the mix.
