Another impressive performance today from Shooting Stars Sports Club’s Under15 side has seen them cruise into the quarterfinals of the NPFL/La Liga Promises under 15 tournament with a two-nil win over Gombe United’s under15 side.
Jimoh Basit opened the scoring in the 49th minute with his second goal in as many games in the competition before Muhammed Sanni doubled the Young Warriors’ lead five minutes later.
The boys grabbed the quarterfinal ticket with one game still left to play in the group stage after an opening day one-nil victory over Rangers International.
Their final Group D match is against the young El Kanemi Warriors.
