Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka will remain on penalty duties for the Gunners despite missing from the spot in the 2-2 draw with WestHam.

He revealed this in the press conference held at Colney ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Southampton.

The Spaniard also confirmed that defender William Saliba is still out of the team as the medical team is still monitoring progress on his recovery from back injury.
The Gunners are also hopeful Oleksandr Zinchenko is fit enough for the Southampton clash.
Amongst a deluge of questions he faced, Arteta had to respond to questions about his team being written off in the Premier League title race.
Arteta stated that the players have full belief in the challenge and are ready to fight to get their hands on the title by the end of the season.
He revealed the players were looking forward to the Friday night game and wants the home fans to be electric in their remaining 4 home games for the season.

The Gunners have drawn their last two games against Liverpool and WestHam 2-2 despite going 2-0 up early in the games.
They are currently 4 points ahead of chasers Manchester City who have a game in hand.
