Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have passed the mandatory MRI test conducted by CAF at the designated hospital in Algiers ahead of Sunday’s opener against Zambia.

The entire 26-player squad of the two-time African Champions passed the test within an hour without hassles according to sources close to Nduka Ugbade’s team.

The team would have risked disqualification from the tournament if at least four of the squad had failed the test.

Ugbade’s boys have since departed Algiers for Constantine where they will face Zambia on Sunday.

The Golden Eaglets will also trade tackles with Morocco and South Africa in the other Group B games in their quest for a third AFCON U17 title.
