Lagos State Commissioner for Youths and Social Development, Hon.Mobolaji Ogunlende, alongside thousands of young individuals has paid a final respects to the young and talented singer, Aloba Promise Oladimeji Imole, popularly known as Mohbad,
Ogunlende led the Candlelight procession & tribute concert that commenced from Lekki Peninsula Phase 1 and concluded at Muri Okunola Park.
Affirming the commitment of the government to unravel the truth behind the sudden death of the young star, Ogunlende said that the Lagos state government closely monitoring the investigation in conjunction with relevant agencies to expose those behind the death of Mohbad.
“We share in the grief of loosing our brother in Lagos, and our youthful Governor is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the youth remain at the forefront of our endeavours.”
“Our government is fully committed, and my role as Commissioner is a testament to that commitment. What we seek now is your united support as we strive to build strong and united youth communities.”
Also at the event was the Lagos State APC Youth Leader, Dr Seriki Muritala and Special Adviser to Lagos State Government on Tourism, Idris Aregbe.
