The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, has arrived at the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, for the judgment concerning the appeals challenging the re-election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu by the tribunal.
The Election Petitions Tribunal had on September 25, 2023, upheld the re-election of Sanwo-Olu and his deputy as the duly elected governor of the state.
The appeals were filed by the governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and that of the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Abdulazeez Adediran, challenging Sanwo-Olu’s re-election.
