The Oyo state government has commended the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for initiating reforms and policies in the education sector, especially in tertiary education.

These efforts have repositioned Lagos State to become a model for impactful, inclusive, and innovative education for other states in the country.

This was stated by the permanent secretary of Oyo State ministry of education, Science and Technology, Olusanjo Joel Adeniyi during a working visit to the Lagos State Ministry of Tertiary Education to understudy the State Government’s policies on tertiary education and other areas for a possible collaboration that can fast-track the growth of education in the State.

Disclosing this via his X handle on Thursday, November 16, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Sanwo-Olu, Jubril Gawat wrote: “The Oyo State Government has commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State for initiating exceptional reforms and policies in the education sector, particularly tertiary education which has repositioned the State to become a model for impactful, inclusive and innovative education for other States in the country.

“The Permanent Secretary, Oyo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Olusanjo Joel Adeniyi gave the commendation during a recent working visit to the Lagos State Ministry of Tertiary Education to understudy the State Government’s policies on tertiary education and other areas for a possible collaboration that can fast-track the growth of education in the State.”
