The Lagos State Government has intensified its campaign to clear shanties and illegal structures from under bridges in the state.

The Commissioner of Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced on Saturday on X.com that the ministry had begun removing shanties and illegal businesses under the Isolo bridge on Friday.

He wrote, “Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources yesterday removed shanties, makeshift structures and dislodged street traders under Isolo bridge.”
