It was a sigh of relief for residents of Mudi Lane, in Kosofe Local Government as the Executive Chairman of the Kosofe Local Government, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, commissioned this strategic road projects to mark his 3years in office.
This road project is in addition to five roads that was unveiled in Mende, with one each in Ojota and Ojudu.
Ogunlewe emphasized that these projects were fully funded by the council, highlighting his commitment to serving the community.
“I was elected to be their local government chairman, and this is what is expected from me.” Ogunlewe said.
Ogunlewe used the period to called on residents and Community Development Area (CDA) chairpersons to place value on this project by maintaining it, as it was meant to free flow of vehicular movement.
Oluloro Idowu, Councilor representing ward D Anthony praised Ogunlewe for addressing long-standing road issues in the Local Government most especially the Mudi Lane.
Oluloro assured that he, along with the CDA chairperson, would oversee the maintenance of the newly commissioned road.
A resident in Mudi Lane and former councillor in Kosofe Local Government, said Moyosore Ogunlewe has demonstrated the council’s commitment to improving the lives of Kosofe residents through people’s oriented projects which the construction of Mudi Lane is an example of it.
