Six individuals have been arrested for openly urinating on the rail track in front of the Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi on Saturday.
The arrest was in an effort to crack down on indecent behavior and promote a cleaner environment.
This was disclosed in a caption on his ‘X’ handle (Formerly known as Twitter), the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokubo Wahab, on Saturday, August 24.
The caption reads:”Six defaulters were earlier today arrested for open urination on rail track in front of Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi.”
The arrests were made as part of the Lagos State Government’s ongoing efforts to enforce a cleaner and more sanitary environment, under the #ZeroToleranceLagos and #CleanerLagos initiatives.
