The first female Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Princess Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, alongside members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, met with the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) on Tuesday at the Lagos House, Marina.
The meeting aimed to align perspectives and dispel any doubts or circulating rumors regarding the Assembly’s leadership.
Consequently, a vote of confidence was passed, solidifying her position as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
She was advised to go about her business and ensure that she upholds her promise of inclusive, just and collaborative legislation, for the good of the people and the state of Lagos.
