Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe has joined Muslim Ummar across the globe in the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr Celebration, the end of holy month of Ramadan.
He enjoined Islamic faithful in Kosofe Local Government and beyond not to forget all the lessons learnt during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
” This blessed day marks not merely the conclusion of the sacred month of Ramadan, but a profound opportunity for continued spiritual growth and community transformation.”

“The Holy Qur’an instructs us in Surah Ali-Imran (3:200): “O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful.” This divine guidance calls us to continue the spiritual discipline we have cultivated during Ramadan, encouraging patience, compassion, understanding, mutual support, and steadfastness in our collective journey.”

Ogunlewe implored all the communities in the Local Government to continue the invaluable lessons of self-discipline, empathy, and collective responsibility.
“Let the spirit of Ramadan transcend this month, becoming a catalyst for sustainable peace, social cohesion, and meaningful local development,” says Ogunlewe
