The Moyo Ogunlewe Empowerment Foundation is set to expand its comprehensive healthcare outreach programme to Ogudu ward, following a highly successful four-week campaign across various wards in Kosofe Local Government Area.
The initiative, under the patronage of Barr Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, has previously served residents in Oworonsoki, Ifako/Soluyi/Gbagada, Anthony Village, Mende, and Ojota wards.
Operations will commence on Monday, 18th November 2024, with the medical team establishing their base at 9, Samuel Street, Ogudu. The door-to-door healthcare services will specifically target senior citizens within five Community Development Associations (CDAs):
• Mosalasi Association
• Ogudu Ori-Oke
• Idowu Dada
• Ogudu Oruba
• Ogudu Central
This strategic expansion to Ogudu underscores the foundation’s methodical approach to healthcare delivery, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all communities within the local government area. The initiative continues to garner widespread commendation for its innovative community-based healthcare model, particularly its focus on improving healthcare accessibility for elderly residents.
The foundation’s systematic ward-by-ward approach exemplifies its commitment to ensuring no community is left behind in accessing quality primary healthcare services.
