Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda, has again emphasised the need for a harmonious relationship with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Meranda made the remark on Monday, when she led a courtesy visit to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at Lagos House, Ikeja.

The visit  provided an opportunity to reaffirm the Assembly’s commitment to a harmonious working relationship with the Executive arm.

She harped on  the importance of alignment between the two arms for the state’s growth and development.

Governor Sanwo-Olu appreciated the visit and reiterated his administration’s commitment to working closely with the Assembly to achieve the state’s developmental goals.

Sanwo-Olu said: “This alignment ensures that Lagos remains a model of excellence in governance. We will build on the successes of the past and work tirelessly to deliver transformational progress across all sectors.”

The governor expressed confidence in the shared vision of the Executive and Legislative arms to implement policies and projects that deliver on the Greater Lagos agenda, enhancing the state’s efforts in delivering impactful governance and sustainable development for its residents.

This visit marks a significant step in strengthening the relationship between the Lagos State House of Assembly and the Executive arm, paving the way for collaborative governance and progress in the state.
