As Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk prepares to defend his WBA (Super), WBO and IBF titles 11 months after he upset Joshua with a points win in London, Anthony Joshua has revealed he now knows Oleksandr Usyk’s “tricks” as he looks to “change the narrative” before their heavyweight rematch.

Revenge is the theme for AJ’s camp in this rematch and Briton Joshua feels he has learned valuable lessons from their first meeting as he bids to become a three-time world champion on Saturday night. Joshua, who is now working with American coach Robert Garcia, suffered just the second defeat of his career against Usyk last September and says he has tried to “reinvent himself” since then.

Asides the three world titles on the line in this bout, there is also the Ring Magazine belt to fight for. This is as a result of Tyson Fury’s retirement which meant the Gypsy King vacated it.

With Fury confirming his retirement for the second time since April, the winner could consider themselves the best active heavyweight in the world.

Despite Joshua’s two losses in 26 contests against the 35 year old Usyk (who remains undefeated in his 19-fight professional career), the Briton is confident of exacting revenge over his while  insisting people know him as a serial winner.
