Scott Parker has become the first managerial casualty  in the Premier League this season after Bournemouth announced they have parted ways with the former England midfielder.

Parker started the new season on a high with Bournemouth winning 2-0 against Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa but a run of three straight losses since then -including the 9-0 drubbing at the Anfield stadium against Liverpool in the last game – mean the Cherries were forced into taking a decision as fast as possible in order to prevent a disastrous season for the newly-promoted side.
It was not just about the four-nil loss to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City or the three-nil defeat at home to Arsenal but the manner of those defeats.

The former West Ham midfielder, who also had stints at Fulham (both as player and then manager) and Tottenham Hotspurs, was named one of the brightest homegrown managerial talents in England not too long ago.

Do you think he deserved to be sacked?

Who do you think will be there next Premier League manager to be sacked?

Who do you think should replace him at Bournemouth?
