Tobi Amusan ran a time of 12.45 seconds to win the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2022 ISTAF World Continental Tour Silver meeting in Berlin.
Tobi Express, as she is fondly referred to by fans, outpaced American two-time world junior champion Tia Jones, who came in second with a time of 12.58 while Megan Tapper won bronze with a time of 12.66 seconds.
Amusan, who already won gold at the World Athletics Championship in Oregon, and had repeated the remarkable feat at the 2022 Commonwealth games in the United Kingdom, blazed the tracks in Berlin.
Her compatriot, long jumper Ese Brume, who got her first win at the Diamond League Meet in Brussels, Belgium came second in the women’s long jump event in Berlin.
