Manchester United pulled a famous comeback win over Manchester City to continue a magnificent run of 10 wins in 10 games at the Old Trafford under Erik Ten Hag.

United had looked the more threatening side in the opening half before Jack Grealish came on to punish their profligacy in front of Ederson’s goal with a header from a Kevin De Bruyne cross inside the box.

Erik ten Hag’s side equalized with a controversial goal in the 78th minute as Bruno Fernandes scored despite Marcus Rashford initially being in an offside position although he did not touch the ball.

Rashford was the central figure again four minutes later when he swept in substitute Alejandro Garnacho’s cross at the Stretford End putting the ball under Ederson to move United to within one point of City and six points adrift of Arsenal who play Spurs in the North London derby on Sunday.
