Personable and a man who values the power of the youth, Dayo Isreal has become one of the Nigeria youth who held the forte and tradition of youth emancipation in the country.

Like all human beings, Dayo Isreal’s life is a binary configuration. His strengths are plenty and his greatness huge but one thing you cannot remove from him as a National Youth Leader of All Progressives Congress is his passion for development and knack for excellence.

Dayo Isreal is extremely finicky, so much that if he enters an environment, he will begin to make the place lively, no wonder he was turbaned Tauraron Sabon Garin “Shinning Star of Sabon Garin” Gusau Zamfara State. You can see this in the quality of infrastructure a leadership laid upon him.

From the age of nine, Dayo started the only child-led non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Nigeria at the time – General Action Against the Violation of Human and Children’s Rights, an organisation which spearheaded the campaign for the promotion of children’s rights in Nigeria.

As a result of this, he was elected onto the Nigerian Children’s Parliament at the age of 14 and became the first deputy senate president of Children’s Parliament for Nigeria. At the age of 15 he started attending meetings for the United Nations (UN) and also took his first trip to Europe under the Global Peace Walk.

A year later, he travelled to London with the British Council as a speaker for Connecting Future’s Programme and also spoke at a UN General Assembly Special Session on Children. He continued to be involved in many other notable global activities which were committed to children’s rights.

Dayo has paid his dues as a progressive youth leader and is considered to be one of the icon that makes Nigeria youth proud. He deserves thumbs-up on the occasion of his birthday.
