Imade Osarenkhoe opened the scoring for the Benin Gunners within a minute before setting up strike partner Ismael Sarki in the 38th minute to make it 2-0.

Taofeeq Malomo scored one to make it 1-2  for the hosts just before halftime and then had a blatant penalty shout ignored by the referee.

Gbenga Ogunbote’s side increased the pressure on Monday Odigie’s wards as the second half resumed and were rewarded with the equaliser by stand-in captain Opeoluwa Olufemi following a fine passing exchange in the final third.

Supporters of the Oluyole Warriors bemoaned the game’s officiating as more controversial calls were being made with some calling on the media to beam the lights on the bad officiating.

3SC, whose players looked dejected at the result, will travel to play against Enyimba in Aba for their Matchday 8 midweek clash.
