The club chairman of 3SC, Hon. Babatunde Olaniyan, has assured fans of the NPFL club of reinforcement ahead of the second half of the season in a chat with BCOS TV sports crew.

Akoro, as he is popularly called, stated that he was confident of a better outing when the league resumes from the mid-season break.

The former NPFL referee revealed that the management had a meeting with the technical crew of the Oluyole Warriors to identify areas that needed reinforcement during the mid-season break.

He also clarified that he never thought of giving the coach of the team, Gbenga Ogunbote, an ultimatum.

In his words: “I don’t have it in mind because this is one of the best indigenous coaches in Nigeria. He knows what is working and what he is doing. You will always see me in their training. I know the level of training is quite the standard for a top team. So, I don’t have it (an ultimatum) in mind.”

“I know he is not happy too and he’s looking at what he’s going to, at least, put in place for us to have a better second half of the season.”

Akoro promised to work hand in hand with the technical crew in getting the best legs in ahead of the business end of the season.

Shooting Stars will be looking to get off the blocks as fast as possible when action resumes.
