Nigeria’s Flying Eagles picked up one of the four African tickets to the FIFA u20 World Cup with a quarterfinal win over Uganda’s u20 side.
A 30th minute own goal by Leganes midfielder Ibrahim Juma gave the Nigerian representatives the win.
Ladan Bosso’s boys might not have played their best football but they did just about enough to secure the win.
They will be joined at the World Cup by the Teranga Cubs of Senegal who have an unblemished record at the ongoing tournament.
