The Nigeria Football Federation, in a communique released earlier after an executive committee meeting at the organization’s secretariat, has taken a decision to constitute boards for the Nigeria Premier Football League, the Nigeria National League, the Nigeria Women Football League and the Nigeria Nationwide League One.

The federation also seized the opportunity to charge the Golden Eaglets to deploy its best efforts to win the AFCON under17 taking place in Algeria between 29th of April and 19th of May while grabbing the FIFA under17 World Cup ticket.

The Nigerian football governing body also noted that the Flying Eagles’ bronze-winning performance at the AFCON u20 that held recently in Egypt was below-par and exhorted the technical crew and players to see it as a national duty to win the FIFA U20 World Cup that is set to hold between May 20 and June 11 in Argentina.

The executive board expressed satisfaction with the new positive spirit and winning mentality of the Super Falcons which has seen them win the last three international games.

They then admonished the technical crew to work harder so the team can stand their own against the world’s best at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.

The Board also stated readiness to hep the team prepare for the biggest-ever women football mundial with a grade A friendly in Europe as well as a two-week camping experience in Australia before kickoff of the tournament on July 20.

While assuring Nigerians of its focus on developing football proactively from the grassroots and engendering a conducive environment for a blossoming football economy that will contribute to the nation’s gross domestic product, the board expressed dissatisfaction with the recent results of the Super Eagles and the Under23 Eagles.
